The Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation is a non-profit organization established and dedicated to honoring seniors and United States military veterans. The primary focus is on individuals living in long-term care communities. Our mission is to “Give Back To Those Who Have Given”. Through our donors, the Foundation provides Dream Flights in a Boeing Stearman biplane, the same aircraft used to train many military aviators in the 1940’s.

Celebrate Veterans Day in San Antonio!

If you’re in the San Antonio area, join us for a Veterans Day Celebration on November 11, 2015!

Lt. Col. Richard Cole, one of two surviving Doolittle Raiders, will return to the sky for a Dream Flight at the historic Stinson Airport in San Antonio.

Cole, who celebrated his 100th birthday on Sept. 7, 2015, was Lt. Gen. James “Jimmy” Doolittle’s co-pilot during the all-volunteer bombing raid on Japan after the attack on Pearl Harbor in April 1942. He is one of 10 scheduled Dream Flights during this Veterans Day celebration, hosted by the City of San Antonio and in partnership with the Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation.

Other Dream Flight recipients scheduled for the day include former San Antonio Mayor and U.S. Air Force veteran Phil Hardberger; U.S. Air Force veteran and prominent military aviation advocate Oliver “Ollie” Crawford; and senior military veterans living at Blue Skies of Texas and Independence Hill Retirement Resort Community, both senior living communities based in San Antonio.

The event starts at 9 a.m. with the presentation of colors and remarks by local dignitaries. Dream Flights begin at 10 a.m. Vintage military aircraft will be on display.

AADF is a non-profit organization that provides free Dream Flights to senior U.S. military veterans living in long-term care facilities. The Dream Flights take place in one of three fully restored Boeing Stearman biplanes, the same aircraft used to train military aviators in the early thirties and forties. Since 2011 the foundation has provided more than 1,500 Dream Flights.

Stinson Airport is located at 8535 Mission Rd, San Antonio, Texas, 78214. We hope to see you there!
