“In the 20s I had a neighbor that was a pilot. That’s what got me interested. Then I got a ride in a Ford Tri-Motor. In October of 1934 I took my first lesson. Finally got my license in 46 because of the war. My first plane was a Piper J3. From then on I just did hobby flying. I have 1500 logged hours. The highlight of my flying was when I headed a Civil Air Patrol unit in Indiana.” Joseph makes his home at in Cheyenne, WY.
