Clarence served his country in the U.S. Navy as a radioman from 1955-1961. He enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles while working with WE Energy in Wisconsin. Clarence and his wife Jean moved to Nevada in 1994. The draw to Nevada was clear, “I don’t want to do snow, and I don’t want to do grass”. Clarence enjoyed the thrill of riding in a bi-plane today, giving the double thumbs up upon take-off and landing. The pilot reported two hands high in the air several times during flight. The flight was a joy and was seen by friends and his cheering wife from the ground. Clarence makes his home at “The Lodge” in Carson City, Nevada.
