Kent served in the Army for 3.5 years at the end of the Korea War. He worked as a repairman on high frequency radio monitoring equipment. He felt the most important thing about his military service was playing a part in monitoring the activity along the iron curtain. To have a flight like this happen for him means so much because a Stearman was the first plane he ever flew in as a kid. While he was flying he mostly enjoyed looking along the Willamette seeing all the different land. If there was one thing he would like the world to remember about him is that he paid all his debts, emotional and physical. Kent makes his home at Hillside in McMinnville Oregon.
