William “Grant” Coleman

 

Grant served his country with the 56th Amphibious Tank & Tractor Battalion-Elite in the Korean War. He was a former Army paratrooper and artillery tank commander, and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. “I just thank the good Lord for this flight….Couldn’t have been more perfect,” said Coleman about his dream flight. Grant makes his home at South Hills Rehabilitation Center in Eugene, Oregon.
