HAVE YOU FILLED OUT AN APPLICATION?
If your facility would like to participate in an event with us, please fill out the Facility Event Request application (http://www.agelessaviationdreams.org/dream-flights/application/). This is your first step and will help us know more about you and whether you want a full or a half day event. Please understand we are a volunteer organization and our busy volunteers are doing their best to fly your residents. We may not be able to get to your facility this year but we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible. Filling out the application expedites that process.
WHAT DO I DO NOW?
Once our scheduler has called you with your scheduled date, you’re ready to begin the adventure!
First, please print off and read very carefully the following letter:
It will provide you with some very good information about your day.
Second, it’s time to find your Dream Flyers. You will need to fill out an application for each flyer that will participate that day. You can either enter them electronically on our website or download it, print it off and make copies. Please try to fill these out (or have the residents/families) as much as possible. We love to know the history of our flyers.
Third, figure out what type of event you want. Small? Big? Decorations?
3-4 WEEKS OUT
Confirm with our scheduler and submit your Dream Flyer applications.
Go out and check airport to make sure this location will work for you and your resident’s needs.
1 WEEK OUT
We believe this would be a great opportunity for you to showcase your local heroes so we encourage you to inform them of this unique event. We have attached some media templates for you to use if you would like.
Go over the checklist for next week to make sure you have everything. Get the cell phone for the pilot that will be flying you (in case you need to call them that morning). Make sure they have yours!
EVENT DAY CHECKLIST:
The big day is here! We can’t wait to meet you and your residents! Please bring:

- Optional extras such as decorations, games for residents as they wait
We’ll see you out there!
